The UV Liners are pulled into the pipe with a winch, end caps are attached to the ends of the liner to hold air pressure and the liner is inflated to take the shape of the host pipe. The light chain is then pulled into the liner through one of the end caps during the first part of inflation process. Pulling the light chain is accomplished by attaching a rope that is manufactured inside of the liner to the UV Light chain. The end cap is sealed and the liner is brought up to full curing pressure with the proprietary Automated Inflation System. The liner is inspected while the chain is traveling to the far side manhole via the on board camera and the lamps are enabled by the Progressive Innovations’ proprietary Intelli-Kon software system that systematically starts and finishes the curing process.
